The founder Laura Griffin- Greenwood has been servicing youth for 15 years. She has been previewed on One on One with Steve Adubato show telling her life experiences. Laura has a passion for working for young women and girls who are involved in the juvenile justice system because of her personal experiences.
In 1992 RAFHA was created as a non-profit 501-c (3) organization committed to the restoration and empowerment of young women ages 12-19 years of age in the Southern Counties of New Jersey. Laura is currently the chair person of the South Jersey Empowering Young Women Coalition created in 2009 to build resources for girls in Southern New Jersey. Laura has done public speaking to organization about Gender specific services for girls throughout New Jersey.
